What's New Under the SUN
 |
When K5600, Inc. introduced this unique wattage to the market in 1999, we expected it to be a welcomed change…But never did we expect it to become our # 1 seller and discontinue our own 1200! A JOKER-BUG 800 owner obviously understands the enormous advantages of this unique fixture.
MORE OUTPUT
Because of the increasing use of Chimera® Lightbanks for fine daylight interiors, two camera interviews, TV magazines, and documentaries, we designed this fixture to take full advantage of the large reflective material inside a Lightbank. Utilizing our BUG™ “bare-bulb” design we can produce an amazing 50% more output than a JOKER 1200! |
READY TO FLY
The JOKER-BUG 800 fits in one tiny airline case, weighing only 38lbs. The next wattage up (1200) is twice the size and weight. The actual size of the kit is exactly the same as a JOKER-BUG 400 Kit!
LOCATION FRIENDLY
When working in practical locations such as homes, offices or business, power consumption is a key factor. The JOKER-BUG 800 will produce as much output as a 4,000 Watt quartz fixture with the power draw of only 11 Amps, never risk overloading a circuit again! The next size up (1200) monopolizes an entire circuit whereas the JOKER-BUG 800 will allow for another source such as a JOKER-BUG 400 on the same circuit!
JOKER-BUG 800 puts out 50% more light than a 1200 in a Chimera®.
JOKER-BUG 800 is smaller than its nearest lower wattage (575). And fits in the same case as a JOKER 400!
JOKER-BUG 800 only draws 11 Amps allowing for a 400W to be used on the same circuit! |

The Image 85 DMX fixture’s large soft light coverage and its small, energy footprint, combined with the ease of rigging compared to tungsten lighting sources makes it the darling of motion picture and television visual effects designers.
The relatively cool source takes about six different colored visual effects lighting colors, but most notably the specialized Kino Flo spiked blue and spiked green tubes for deep, rich saturation of color when lighting blue and green colored cyclorama stages.
Its smaller sibling, the Image 45 DMX, produces the same quality of light,
with the same light control and beam spread features, but uses half the energy. The Image 45 works ideally on bluescreen and greenscreen stages that are no more than 15 feet in height.
Image Features Include
• DMX lamp switching
• HO/Standard switching
• Individual lamp control
• Gel Frame, Louver
• Instant-on, dead quiet
• True-Match® daylight and tungsten lamps
• Remote hand-held lamp control (DIM-5 optional) |
The Kino Flo Celeb 200
(with Batteries)
|
The Celeb® 200 LED is the LED that lighting professionals have been waiting for – an LED with color and light quality that Kino Flo’s are known for.
The Celeb boasts technical innovations that make it an ideal professional imaging tool: a dial-in variable color temperature control, full-range dimming and programmable 2700K to 5500K presets. Light levels do not change when selecting Kelvin settings.
Like the vaunted, award-winning line of portable Kino Flos, the Celeb 200 LED reproduces color faithfully, beautifully on HD or film, in the studio or on location. The Celeb's 100 Watts of soft, lustrous white light doesn't flicker or shift color temperature when dimmed.
The trim, lightweight fixture operates on universal AC power, 100VAC-240VAC, and needs only one amp to
produce more lumens than a 750W tungsten soft light. The Celeb 200 LED can also be powered by 24VDC battery.
The Celeb 200 comes complete with 360 degree mounting, molded accessory holders, removable gel frame and focusing louver.
- Kelvin presets and custom settings between 2700-5500K
- Universal Input 100VAC-240VAC or 24VDC
- Onboard dimming
- Flicker-free, dead quiet operation
- Center Mount
- Honeycomb Louver
- Gel Frame

The ArriMax M18 1800w Par System
|
Based on the design principles of the ARRIMAX, the new M18 is an innovative lamphead that works with a new power class of lamp: the 1800W SE HMI™. This lamp boasts 750 hours of average life and a Luminous Efficacy of 92 Lumens per Watt (L/W). The Color Rendering Index (Ra) is greater than 90 at 6000K (CCT).
Now the "Brightest HMI you can plug into the wall,"* the M18 is a lensless, open face lighting fixture that combines the desired light distribution from the optics of a PAR and a Fresnel fixture. The unique ARRIMAX reflector design creates diverging rays to produce a crisp shadow.
With a beam angle (HPA) of 20 to 60 degrees and a wide usable field angle, the M18 is designed to be both intense and efficient. When narrower beam angles are desired, ARRI offers the ARRISUN 18. The AS18 uses common ARRI spread lenses and a PAR reflector in combination with spot, medium and flood focus settings. Conversion kits are available to adapt an M18 to the AS18 (as well as an AS18 to a M18).
The M18 and AS18 are designed to be highly versatile and meet better lighting efficiencies in a new performance class. Intense and efficient, these lights showcase convenient, cost-effective qualities in addition to the known characteristics and high standards of ARRI HMIs™. These new units also support a 1200W lamp.
